Exposed Employee Protocol: Any employees who were exposed are required to produce a negative-COVID test result before returning to work.
Continued Support for Employee Vaccination: As frontline essential workers, most of our employees are fully vaccinated. We will continue to encourage that they receive the vaccine and accommodate their schedules to allow them to receive the vaccine.
Curbside Service: We will continue to provide care to you and your pets via curbside service. This allows you to remain safely outside of the hospital, and we can safely treat your pets.
Video/Telephone Calls: Will continue to use Google Duo, Facetime, or traditional telephone calls for exams. We are dedicated with providing you face-to-face, even with the help of technology.
Telemedicine: We will shortly be rolling out telemedicine services, providing care in your homes as opposed to coming to the hospital.
Cleaning: We are increasing the frequency of cleaning commonly touched surfaces.
Air Scrubbers: We have installed Air Scrubbers in our HVAC Systems – Air Scrubbers work to destroy over 99% of all surface and airborne contaminants faster. It accomplishes this by using light waves and a catalytic process to produce scrubber ions and hydroperoxides. Specifically, it removes volatile organic compounds, odors, dust, pet dander, and other allergens. We have had this directly installed into our existing ductwork, a piece for each of our four HVAC systems, overall creating a cleaner and safer environment in the hospital. We will continue regular servicing of the HVAC systems.
Employee Protocols:
20 Second Handwashing – Per CDC guidelines we have asked all employees to thoroughly wash their hands for at least 60 seconds.
Meals and Drinks – We have designated spaces for employees to eat, drink and enjoy snacks. We still encourage 6 ft of distance and removing masks as little as possible. We have also purchased plexiglass dividers to ensure extra safety as we take our breaks.
Masks Always – Employees are required to always have their masks on unless drinking or eating.
