Rebecca Edwards, DVM, has always been drawn to animals. Starting with a childhood filled with exploring nature and wildlife, she had many people offer inspiration along the way—from her mother to the many doctors she was able to learn from prior to and during veterinary school.
While studying at the University of Wisconsin—Madison, she won awards for her interest and proficiency in radiology and in orthopedic surgery, as well as a humanitarian award for demonstrating compassion and care to the patients and clients she worked with during her clinical year.
Dr. Edwards became a veterinarian to not only help pets, but also to help the people who love their pets. She shows compassion for each pet and tries to serve as their voice to better identify their issues and formulate the best plan of action. In her rare spare time, she likes to read, hike, camp and play tennis. She also likes to travel, especially to visit friends and family in Wisconsin and Australia.
